Satipo was the name of a Peruvian Porter.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Satipo grew up in Peru for his entire life. In 1935 he met Forrestal, an American archaeologist in search of the fertility idol. Satipo agreed to help Forrestal, but refused to find the idol. Satipo hired his other Peruvians to help Forrestal recover the idol. The porters were killed by Hovitos and Forrestal was killed by one of the temple's traps.
South America[]
One year later in 1936, Satipo met Emile Belloq, a French archaeologist who paid Satipo to help recover the idol. Satipo agreed to spy on Belloq's enemy Indiana Jones, an American archaeologist and professor. Satipo accompanied Indy into the temple and recovered the idol. The two barely made it out alive, but after they escaped, Satipo revealed who he worked for. Belloq was standing outside the temple along with many Hovitos warriors. Indy handed the idol over to Belloq and Belloq flashed it off to the Hovitos. Satipo informed Belloq that Indy was making a run for it. Belloq sent the Hovitos after Indy. The archaeologist escaped the Hovitos in a boat driven by Jock Lindsey and escaped.
