Gwen's best friend is Roxanne Beaumont. They had been friends since they were little kids. She secretly has a crush on Mutt, and Roxanne is the only person she has ever told. A fact that she does not know is that Glenn Wright likes her.
She is occasionally hassled by Blake Thompson and members of his biker gang. She first met Mutt when Glenn tried to protect her from Ryan Carlson, a member of Blake's gang and Blake's best friend.
