--JMan2.0 (talk) 19:54, November 26, 2013 (UTC)Interesting note I just recently submitted my idea to TheRaider.Net's "Indy 5 Synopsis Contest". So it'll be interesting to see how things turn out! Including what other story lines other Indiana Jones fans come up with. Though looking back at this original page is interesting to think about what a long way and how much this idea has evolved since I started it. Such as the probable elimination of the Ian Griffin character and the fact that the White Lotus Society as the antagonists is in the most current incarnation of the concept (the one I submitted) and that's not even here. Looks like I have some editing to do around here.
Indiana Jones and the Blade of Heaven's Will is a sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Essentially meant in its own timeline to be Indiana Jones V.
It is 1963, and the Vietnam War has been raging for a time. A Chinese general enacting a rogue covert operation named Wĕi Sun, the head of Red China's military special projects, has begun a conspiracy with the Viet Cong in seeking the Vietnamese sword of legend Thuận Thiên known as "Heaven's Will", believed to have belong to one of their famous heroic emperors of old Lê Lợi. Having said to have been used to repel a great enemy in the past, the Viet Cong hoping to do so again with the Americans supporting South Vietnam. General Sun giving financial backing, special arms, and intel to aid them planning for the alliance helping him in a coup to take control of the Chinese government. They hire a famed and successful Irish archaeologist named Ian Griffin, a notorious rival to Indiana Jones, to lead the operation. A conspiracy that drags in Indy himself, as well as his son Mutt, and Indy's former and currently estranged partner Wan "Short Round" Li as they race across Asia to find the sword before their competitors.
